The 4 ring chain is part of the series of chains that explores how many “flat” rings can be put on a 1/2 inch round ring before one has to deal with the curvature of the large ring (OK - that’s a real engineering statement of a problem, but it IS interesting!)

The chain is 18 inches in length and approximately 1/2 inch in width. While the chain looks heavy, but it actually weighs less than 1 oz.

The chain also features a simple clasp that doesn’t need tiny fingers and a microscope to use, as well as a stone that makes the clasp a visual point of interest
